Lake Humphreys is celebrated as one of Oklahoma's top 40 fishing lakes by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation, and is featured on one of their six fishing trail loops. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, carp, saugeye and crappie fishing with purchase of permit.

Lake Humphreys is also known for their wildlife photo opportunites with the deer and waterfowl.
