Pool and Splash Pad Season 2025

Fuqua Pool and the splash pads have closed for the 2025 swim season.

Thanks to the following sponsors, admission to Fuqua Pool for the season was free:

During the swim season, Fuqua Pool hours are 1-6 p.m. Splash Pads (located at Hillcrest Park and Douglass Park) are open from 9 a.m. to sunset each day and will close after Labor Day. As a reminder, splash pads are not operational during inclement weather, and the pool will close for inclement weather, accidents, or any other unsafe swimming conditions.

Inclement Weather Policy

For your safety, please be aware of our splash pad and pool closure policies during inclement weather:

• 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 & 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
• If thunder is heard or lightning is seen from the facility, the pool will be cleared immediately. 
• The pool will remain closed for 30 minutes after each thunder sound or until lightning is no longer within sight. 
• Splash pads will not activate during inclement weather.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻

• If heavy rainfall makes the bottom of the pool not clearly visible, the pool will close. 
• The facility will re-open once visibility improves and lifeguard staff have returned to their stands.
• Spash pads remain open.
• Your safety is our priority - thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
