PSA January 15, 2026

City of Duncan Public Works department has closed 5th Street between Elm Avenue and Pecan Avenue to repair a damaged sewer line. The roadway will reopen once the repairs are complete. Local access to properties in the area will be maintained at all times. Drivers are asked to follow all detour signage and watch for crews in the area. For further information please contact the Department of Public Works during regular business hours Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. by calling 580-252-0250.

PSA December 4, 2025

We have been alerted to a phone scam targeting a utility account holder of City of Duncan. The scammer appeared to have account information and claims the account holder made an overpayment on their utility bill. The scammer asked for banking information in order to provide an alleged refund. If you receive this phone call, HANG UP THE PHONE and DO NOT give out personal or banking account information to the caller. City of Duncan provides an account credit for any overpayment. PLEASE NOTE: There has not been a breach of data from the City of Duncan's utility billing system. Duncan Police Department is aware of the spam call, and we encourage you to share this post to assist in warning others. Thank you for your assistance. 

PSA Bridge Closed November 23, 2024

Our Public Works crew is immediately closing the bridge on Gatlin Rd between Hwy 81 and the Duncan Bypass for safety reasons. Access to local properties will be available, however there will be no thru traffic possible until the necessary repairs can be made.
