Administration
Duncan Police Administration is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, and providing leadership and support to ensure all officers work together effectively to maintain a safe community.
Patrol Division
The Patrol Division is the frontline of public safety, with officers and supervisors assigned to each shift. They are dedicated to protecting residents and visitors through routine patrols, emergency response, and community engagement.
Criminal Investigations Division
The Criminal Investigations Division handles major investigations involving all serious crimes, excluding minor traffic offenses. This specialized unit is staffed by four experienced investigators who work diligently to solve cases and bring offenders to justice.
Training/Recruiting Division
Led by the Training Lieutenant, this division manages the ongoing development and training of all recruits and sworn officers, ensuring that the Duncan Police Department maintains the highest standards of professionalism and preparedness.
Ancillary Services/ Emergency Management Division
This division oversees the maintenance and readiness of all department vehicles and equipment. It also manages the city’s emergency action plans. Staffed by a Captain, Lieutenant and Sergeant, this unit operates under the direct supervision of Duncan Police Administration to ensure rapid and effective response during major emergencies.
