Responsible for the budget, facilities, day to day operations, staffing and human resources.  

Fire Suppression

The procedure or activity of mitigating the results of fire that already has started.

Fire Prevention

The method of preventing fire-based emergencies, and reducing the damage caused by them, by educating members of workplaces and the general public in the steps to prevent fires from starting and reducing the harmful impact of fires.

Fire Training

Executing a program of drills and exercises for the training of firefighting personnel, or for testing firefighting materials or equipment, as part of a recognized training program.
