Overview

Chris Deal is the current City Manager. The City Manager acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the City of Duncan. He is responsible for the daily administration of all departments within the city government. He is also responsible for the implementation of policies developed by the City Council. The City Manager advises the council on decisions and develops a city budget. He manages financial, legal, and intergovernmental relations.

The city manager is also responsible for making sure the needs and concerns of Duncan residents are addressed to help ensure that the city runs smoothly. It is his responsibility to make sure that the city's resources are used to optimize the benefits to the citizens.
